The new film from Italian satirist Pif is gently irreverent romantic comedy about love, faith and finding the perfect pastry, following a Sicilian bachelor whose elaborate charade for the woman he loves forces him to confront what he actually believes.

Anissa Bonnefont’s atmospheric documentary follows 900 artists, staff and technicians at Milan’s legendary opera house La Scala as they anxiously approach opening night for a new production of a Verdi masterpiece.
