THE STORY OF SOULEYMANE's writer/director Boris Lojkine on how his film is concerned with the plight of all those working in the 'gig economy', with The Age's Jake Wilson: “There is no colleague, no boss, you’re alone with your phone. It’s not the problem of being undocumented, it’s the problem of the status of these workers. If they’re employees, then you have to give healthcare; if they have an accident, then you are responsible for them. TOURING NATIONALLY FROM 11 JULY

From 11 July - 13 August, the 2025 Scandinavian Film Festival returns to cinemas with another terrific line-up touring nationally. Among many gems in this year's programme is Opening Night selection, John Andreas Andersen's gripping WWII Norwegian spy drama NUMBER 24, a film which provides perfect context for Erik Poppe's fascinating historical drama QUISLING: THE FINAL DAYS, about that country's infamous war-time leader/traitor, which also features.
