1 October, 2008UNFINISHED SKY A TOP CONTENDER AT IF AWARDS 2008Nominations for the 2008 Inside Film Awards were announced today with Palace Films release UNFINISHED SKY a stand-out, receiving a total of eight nominations in feature film categories. Its nominations include Best Director and Best Script (Peter Duncan); Best Actor (William McInnes); Best Actress (Monic Hendrickx); Best Production Design (Laurie Faen); Best Editing (Suresh Ayyar); Best Sound (Andrew Plain, Annie Breslin, Will Ward); and Best Cinematography (Robert Humphreys ASC). A unique Australian romantic drama set in the rugged and tense beauty of country Australia, UNFINISHED SKY opened to critical acclaim in June this year and has since enjoyed great success at the local box office, where it has taken just shy of one million dollars to-date. UNFINISHED SKY is currently screening in rural locations and will be available to rent on DVD from October 8.
