PALACE FILMS
Palace Films is the distribution arm of Palace and imports quality international
cinema for release in Australia and New Zealand, as well as distributing
new Australian feature films
Palace's distribution activity began in
1965. Since then, over 300 feature films have been purchased from such
diverse countries as Hong Kong, America, Great Britain, France, Cuba,
Sweden, Germany, Spain and Italy. Palace currently purchase an average
of 40 titles annually. Around 24 titles are procured for theatrical distribution,
the remainder go directly to video and television.
Palace Films are screened all around the country at Palace Cinemas and
with other exhibitors, both major and independent.
